Amphenol Australia have been manufacturing and designing innovative XLR connectors since 1955. The AC series cable connector range complies with IEC268-12 and AES 14-1992 standards. CSA File Number 68598.

The metal chassis mount “Z” series (D Type) connectors are designed for the audio user where durability, reliability and strength across a wide range of applications are important. All AC products are manufactured to the highest quality standards and will withstand the harshest environments. This range complies with IEC268-12 and AES 14-1992 standards. CSA File Number 68598. Note: A ground tag is standard on all AC “Z” series connectors. Although the ground tag is intended for RFI shielding applications, Amphenol cannot guarantee its effectiveness in all cases. The non-conductive Black polyester finish insulates the ground tag from the shell and should not be used in applications requiring ground contact to the shell.

The AC Series C type chassis receptacles feature two connectors in the one space saving housing. A combined XLR female receptacle together with a 6.35mm (1/4”) phone jack give the designer more flexibility ensuring premium board space is saved. The new low profile high density C type offers a 15% space saving over the traditional C type. Various configurations are available in either stereo or mono layouts with Vertical, Horizontal Printed Circuit Board or Solder contacts.

The SP Series are available in 2 or 4 pole chassis mount connectors. The durable thermoplastic housings are fitted with high power contacts to ensure optimal current carrying capacity. Completely intermatable with industry standard loudspeaker connections.

The AP Series provides the same power handling performance as the EP Series in a cost effective, yet durable Thermoplastic housing.

HP Series connectors are suitable for AC power supply where a latch locking connector is required. They are rated at 25 A / 250 Vac. Connectors are keyed and colour coded for power-in (Blue) and power-out (Grey). THE HP SERIES OF CONNECTORS ARE NOT DESIGNED TO BE “HOT PLUGGED” AND SO ARE WITHOUT “BREAKING CAPACITY”. IN OTHER WORDS, THE CONNECTORS SHOULD NOT BE CONNECTED OR DISCONNECTED LIVE OR WHEN UNDER LOAD.

Amphe-Dante are Dante™ audio to analogue audio adapters, available for Input, Output, AES3 and USB applications. Featuring premium quality Amphenol AX series XLR and RJ45 connectors in a robust molded housing. Amphe-Dante products enable simple connection of analogue equipment to a Dante network and can receive and transmit audio channels from a Dante network and provide studio-quality, low-latency audio via XLR connectors to and from analogue audio equipment. This device requires a 48V power source, which must be provided by a Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch, or a PoE injector. CAUTION– If using a PoE injector, it must be IEEE 802.3af compliant. Use of a non-compliant PoE injector can terminally damage the device and may void the warranty. *Firmware is updated automatically to the latest release available via the auto-updater within Dante Controller
