Rugged Board-to-Board Systems
Tiger Eye™, Samtec’s most rugged contact system rated to 1,000+ mating cycles, features multiple points of contact for high-reliability in board-to-board, discrete wire and IDC cable assemblies with a variety of ruggedizing options. Mini Mate® and Power Mate® isolated power systems provide up to 10.3 Amps per each individually shrouded contact in board-to-board and discrete wire solutions. For up to 18 Amps/blade, the micro 2.00 mm pitch mPOWER® system provides design flexibility for board-to-board, cable-to-board and cable-to-cable applications. Razor Beam™ hermaphroditic connectors offer 4-6x greater mating/unmating forces versus typical micro pitch connectors. Floating connectors provide 0.50 mm contact float in the X and Y axes to compensate for misalignment. One-piece interfaces feature a robust design and mechanical hold-downs for high-shock and vibration applications.
